KENFROST HOMES MARLIN COAST NETBALL ACADEMY
The academy provides access for players aged 11- 17 yrs, Coaches, Umpires and Volunteers to develop their skills and includes players from the Innisfail, Tully, Douglas, Cairns, Mareeba and Tablelands Netball Associations.
The academy focuses on the continued development of individual athletes and her ability to contribute to team environment.
The Player program is designed to maximise the athlete’s potential.
Each Association selects local academy squads from girls aged between 11- 17yrs. They are provided with a home program supplied by Marlin Coast. The players are allocated a coach who oversees their program and assists with time management
Athletes have opportunity to work with High profile presenters as well as travel to other centres that provide similar academy programs.
KENFROST HOMES PREMIER AND JUNIOR LEAGUES
The purpose of Leagues as part of Marlin Coast Academy program is to:

Select Marlin Coast Squad / team (for possible travel later in 2022)

Outline development pathway for all netballers in the Marlin Coast region
At the completion of our Premier League, the 2022 Academy squad was selected. From this squad a team of 10 athletes will represent the Region on the Sunshine Coast from 21st to 23rd October. The team will have the opportunity to work with high level coaches and the USC Thunder Academy players.
On Sunday 21st August, the 2022 Academy team were selected. Congratulations to the following athletes:

2021 Sunshine Coast
In 2021 the Marlin Coast Academy and USC Thunder Academy spent the weekend together on the Sunshine Coast.
2019 Singapore
In 2019 the Academy Team travelled to Singapore to compete in an International Quad Series
